I have a Case 435 skidloader in the shop that I need to tilt the cab forward to check out a starter problem and the cab is very heavy, hard to tip forward. I suspect bad gas struts, but there is no operators manual with the unit and I don't want to break something by using a hoist if there is something holding it.

thanks for the reply.I can actually lift the arms by using the override cable so i can tilt the cab. there is a little square electrical box mounted on the plate that sits over top of the valve. there is also what looks like a selenoid that is mounted directly on top of the valve. it is a series 3. I need to figure out how to lift the arms/bucket to tilt the cab also? Recently bought a regular Case 430 and have been looking it over. Not sure about your 753 but my 743 seems to get stuck as I try to tilt it back. If I grab the metal plate under the seat and lift from there then it comes up fine. It almost seems like it has a safety catch that I have not been able to locate. Hi, I have a case 430 skid steer but the bucket won't tilt back or forward.
