Ive only seen a blower in action with skid steers a few times and I thought wake me up when its over. They all were very slow. In all fairness one was snow blowing 4 foot banks back at Baltimore with us last year and the other two were doing sidewalks with about 4 inches of snow. The skid steer's were older and I don't know if they had high flow.
Bobcat makes the best skid steers Period. I will only buy bobcats. Since they are super easy to work on. They run forever. Only other machine I would even consider is the Gehl 7810 since bobcat doesn't make a machine of its magitude yet.
2012 RAM 3500 CC drw. man trans. No plow 2013 F-350 reg cab 6.2 with a 9.2DXT. 12 Bobcat S650. 10ft Boss pusher and 8ft snowwolfe. So would spinning tires with chains on all winter long cause more damage to the machine (drive chains, bearings, ect) than the extra traction is worth? Like I posted before, this is my first year plowing on my own. So my experience is limited with my new skid steer. I plowed snow for a guy in my area for 6 years running his skid steer. Bigger skid steers (like bigger tractors) can go longer hours. Personally I wouldn't buy one with over 2500 hours on it I'm sure the motor is fine, but it's all the little stuff (hoses, connections, joints, etc) that just starts eating you alive.

Bought an older 2 yard loader last winter to push banks with. Don't really use it in the summer except in the yard.
