If the chains are loose, it can really hammer the motors and other drive components. On a Bobcat, if you jack up the rear wheels, you are supposed to have 1/4" of rotation at the outside of the tire. The first newer skid steer I ran was iso and H pattern selectable so I tried both and found the iso was just more user friendly. My JCB is selectable but I will continue to use iso. As I understand it the one arm is under patent.I talked to a guy who had 2 JCBs and he thinks other manufactures will copy the mono boom once the patent expires. A neighbor suggested looking at a JCB skid steer with a side door. I've never seen one but it looks like it would help in a one man operation that can not justify having a payloader around. We use it for taking out fence, cleaning up fence lines, fixing washes and we have cleaned out parts of terrace channels before. Implement dealer has been good doing what they can but they always have to wait on JCB to give them the okay to fix or replace parts. Hydraulic oil leaks galore, loose fittings, O-rings put in wrong, valve failures, cylinder failures, safety sensors going bad leaving the machine stranded in the middle of the road or field, electrical issues .
