Both these skid steers are pretty amazing when it comes down to stability, design, and functionality. However, Case 1845C is a better choice since it has higher power output and offers advanced features, which makes it suitable for difficult terrains.Personally I'm partial to the Bobcat's, but Case makes an excellent skid-steer as well, the 1840 is just a size smaller than 1845, I dont have any info. on Case but I think the 1845 is as large as Case makes so it would most likely compare to the 863/873 Bobcat, 1840 probably 763/773 B/C. Thats not alot of hours for a '94 model so it will bring . I'm curious why you chose the 1840 vs the 1845c when (presumably) buying new? Was there that much of a price difference? Size/weight considerations? As to the OP, I'd hold out for the 1845C if you can. The extra weight, wheelbase, hp .
