This is a 1992 rubber tired Mustang 960 with the "tee handle" steering. The problem is difficult to describe. The diesel engine and hydraulic lift cylinders and controls work . 1. Replaced the engine oil/filter, added "restore" to see if it would help with rings. 2. Replaced the hydro filter. 3. Replaced the fuel filter. 4. Replaced the air filter - very, very dirty - . If it is just a matter of losing prime, there must be a reason. You might have injection pump issues or might be something as simple a fuel line which has rubbed through .Engine Troubleshooting. I have a mustang 320 skid loader (same as John Deere 90), the book says it is cable of lifting 800lbs. When I first start it up I can lift anything just fine, then within the next 10 . I have a slight issue with my steering in my 65. I rebuilded the power steering and only adjusted the old Steering box to get out the play. I also rebuilded/replaced the hole . Mustang used to have their own style single pin quick attach that nothing else fit. I would also suggest going up a size to a 1000 or preferably a 1300 lb. rated capacity skid steer. .

Just a hit or miss till I can find someone local to work on it. The Mustang skid loaders are great! We have two. The electronic safety circuits have been our only problems. Try replacing the safety rocker switch (upper right). Or you could disable the peddle locks all together. Each spool has an operating rod for the lock out. Remove the solenoids and access the push rods.

If you keep the key in the start position, it will fire (but not start/run) repeatedly. It has a new outer air filter, but I am waiting on . When you go to turn right, the right side motor should stop turning. The left side should push extra hard to make it turn right. Does it push as hard as it used to when you are going straight? Like when you are pushing the bucket into the pile?
