john deere mini excavator forum #1. Hi all, Found the proverbial mini ex, sitting behind the shed of an old couple, family wants it gone. Hasn't run in 2 years, but did run. I think it's a 20 or 35 class machine. I believe it's 80's-early 90's, all yellow vintage. Anything to look for or watch out for on these? They were originally asking $6k, but open to offers. Differences Differences was actually told d series is better than g series. was told that the g series was tier 4 and on some of the models they actually reduced the HP some to keep it in the emissions spec of the smaller engine. Awesome little machine, but I need a small big excavator now. Email is good.

I run a John Deere 35G for my daily machine. I rented a 303.5 Cat and just got off it a bit ago, and my impression is, I prefer the JD. For whatever reason the 303.5 seems a bit less stable. Both machines have angle blades, my JD has a cab. Both are the current model offering. Just drove thru Deere lot, they have the G's and a 35 P, will have to see what that is. Mine only had 500 hours on it when I bought it. I was traded in on a newer D model, with a cab. John Deere 26G 27D 35D 35G Mini Excavators I am looking to buy some used attachments for my JD 27d. Do you guys know if all of the listed (26G 27D 35D 35G) models use the same size bucket ears for the JD quick attach wedge coupler? The local Deere dealer has been trying to get me to trade up to a 50, would be nice, but for what I have in mine, I'll keep it. For sure, mine is worth more now than what I paid for it. Good investment.

I’d like to hear some facts and or opinions on mini excavators. I’m interested in a used machine in the 10,000 to 12,000 pound range. Bobcat, John Deere or Kubota are carried by local dealers but no used ones on the lot. It would be used for conservation work and repair. #1.
