Skid steers are always a little twitchy, I live on the side of a mountain, so i am rarely working on flat ground. However you can take four bolts out and drive away from .
Yeah, this topic has been discussed but for the life of me, I can`t find anything other than the topic on trying to fill small tires with crack filling foam. ANYHOW, called a couple large tire shops about filling skid steer tires with hardening foam fill. You know, the HEAVY stuff. One wants 0/tire and second one wants 0/tire. Heavy deep/compacted/icy steep grade, properly done, is to carry and use 1 or 2 sets 3 railers for drive axles, 1 set singles, one chain on outside tire of each trailer axle and in extreme conditions, (ice covered everything), an extra chain for at least one steer tire. Yeah, I been in that situation as well. I had a set of rubber over the tire tracks for a Gehl 7800. The loader was useless off the road with the tires so I bought a set of Solideal tracks . I had to get a set of smaller tireswith it as they wouldnt fit the big tires I had. Can't remember the size. the tracks improve the traction 150% and flotation as the machine was heavy over 5 ton. I considered this for my rear scraper tires but run across 2 problems. 1 was cost which at 00 for a 23.5x25 I can buy a new tire the other you are locked into one tire company as it takes a special tire press to remove the tire after the process. I know several that do this to skid steer tires and when they wear out replace both tire and rim.
