gehl skid steer repower I recently repowered a Gehl 2500 with a 24hp Honda GX670 motor. Has anyone dealt with the throttle hookup on on of these conversions? Also, the FSM I picked up says to make sure Hydraulic fluid is in the hose feeding to the pump. We have a range of diggers and dumpers for hire with operators. Repowering my Gehl HL4400. I got rid of the 1972 Ford 134 Industrial Engine and swapped it with a Chevy 2.2 from a 1995 Cavalier. Greetings I just bought my first ever skid steer a Gehl 2600. It seems to be mostly there with the exception of a giant hole in the back where the engine would be. In a little bit of research it seems like I have 3 or 4 different options to power the machine. 1. Small Engine Warehouse Repower Kit ,850+0 or shipping Briggs Vanguard Kit 23HP 2. 1. Sep 21, 2019. #2. I'm in the process of repowering my 2500 with a Predator from harbor freight. I've read plenty of references where others have used the Predator. But I'm not sure how to handle the hydraulic pump bracket. It doesn't line up with any existing bolt patterns. I'm curious how others have dealt with the bracket with repowering? The 1816 is an easy repower. Just need the correct size pulley on the crank. and then bolt an engine in. You may need to fab up mounts or a plate for the motor mount.
